I came in to work for a few hours on Saturday. I made several calls, but only spoke to a few people. Afterwards, I ran a few errands and did my usual Saturday stuff.
Yesterday was Cosmo's birthday. Diana, Gwen, Norman, and myself drove to his place. We had lunch with them, then he opened various cards he received. When I got home, I finished the laundry and called Clark.
This is my online account of various events in my real life, as well as the occasional daydream or fantasy or evening dream. All real people besides me (who aren't celebrities) will be identified by code names (to protect the innocent).

Fallen, Batman/Superman.
On Saturday, I got together with Harry, Liz, and Norma. We picked up pizza and watched a miniseries on DVD called "Fallen." It's all about a young man (Aaron) who discovers he is the offspring of a fallen angel and a human (a Nephilim). He has the ability to understand animals and other human languages, as well as create a flaming sword at will and move at super human speed. He's being hunted by the Powers, a group of angels assigned to destroy the Nephilim and the fallen angels. He learns from a fallen angel that he is a special Nephilim with the ability to redeem fallen angels, enabling them to return to heaven. He travels with his dog (Gabriel) and the former leader of the Powers, Camael. After watching the miniseries, I borrowed a DVD from Harry, and they gave me a ride home.
The DVD I borrowed was Batman/Superman: Apocalypse. It's based on the trade "Batman/Superman: Supergirl." After the destruction of the huge Kryptonite asteroid from Batman/Superman: Public Enemies, Batman finds a spaceship in Gotham City Harbor. While he is investigating it, a young woman with super powers like Superman shows up. He subdues her with Kryptonite, and Superman learns she is his long lost cousin from Krypton, Kara. Unfortunately, Darkseid also learns of her existence and decides he wants her to lead his Female Furies. I've watched about two thirds of it so far, and it's pretty exciting.

Spiders everywhere.
I've seen a lot of spiders lately. Friday morning, I saw a spider crawling across the corner of my bed by the light of my TV. Friday night, I was at a wedding for one of my supervisor's from work (Matt). During the reception, I was sitting with Matt's boss and her husband. I looked over and saw a spider crawling across the husband's sleeve.
Saturday, I was in my bathroom and spotted a pair of spiders (one was a house spider, the other was a cellar spider) fighting near the door. That same day, I found a spider in the dryer right as I was about to put some clothing I had washed into it.
Today, I was working on the remaining laundry and found a spider in the dryer again. This spider looked a lot like the last spider I had seen in there on Saturday.
Besides all the spiders I saw, I watched more of my season 2 DVD's of "Heroes." I finished the first DVD last week, then started the second DVD this weekend.

Heroes and Washers.
This weekend, I started watching the second season of "Heroes" on DVD. I keep track of what movies I watch on tape and DVD (and when I finish watching them). I was looking through my notes and discovered it has been nearly a year since I finished watching the first season of "Heroes" on DVD.
Not much else has been going on. Diana got a game called "Washers" from the local grocery store recently. It's a game where you try to toss metal washers (imagine a metal disk about three inches wide and 1/4 of an inch thick with an inch-wide hole in the middle) into a box about fifteen feet away. There is a plastic tube in the center of the box, and if you get the washer in the tube, then you get three points (versus getting one point for landing the washer in the box). We play to twelve points (winner must win by at least two points). We've played seven games in the last couple of days, and I've won four of them.
