Well, another weekend has passed. On Friday, I taped another episode of the new season of "Doctor Who" on Sci Fi. Saturday morning, I had some dreams about being the Doctor, though I can't recall much about them. In the last dream, I remember being bitten by a poisonous snake that I thought was dead, then I shook off the effects of the bite and used a knife to kill the snake in a rather gruesome manner (can you say "filet o' snake?"). Saturday afternoon, Harry, Liz, and I went to see The Prestige. It was darker than I expected, but it kind of had a happy ending. Saturday night, I had a nice surprise: I found the Mega Bloks Spidey kit I had been looking for the past few months online.
In pet spider news, Peter II is missing, presumed eaten and/or dead. I didn't see Peter eat him, but there is a lot of anthropod debris in the bottom of the jar. Peter could have caught and eaten him overnight, then flung the remains into Peter's garbage pile. I gave him another spider I caught in the kitchen on Saturday morning, a small shiny brown spider I found in a web in the corner near the dishwasher. This spider tried to fake me out by playing dead, but I know most of the tricks in your average spider's book. I placed the curled-up spider in Peter's web. As far as I can tell, Peter got to him before I went to see the movie with Harry and Liz. Peter appeared to be feeding on him shortly before I left for the movie.
