Well, this weekend was okay. I finished watching my Spider-Man movie video on Friday night, then started watching my Spider-Man 2 DVD on Sunday (to prepare myself for Spider-Man 3 next weekend). Between those, I watched about half of a movie I just got recently on DVD, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. I had intended to try to watch the whole movie on Saturday, but I had a wedding to go to on Saturday afternoon and didn't get back until later that evening.
The wedding on Saturday was pretty quick, but the reception wasn't. After arriving in time for dinner, I ate dinner and hung out while Cosmo, Wanda, and Diana talked to various relatives. I missed the garter toss (I was in the men's room), but I didn't really care. There was some dancing: the groom and bride, the bride and her father, the groom and his mother, then couples. I wasn't in any of those categories, so I just stayed in my seat and munched on M&M's (the party favors were jars filled with plain M&M's).
On Sunday, I got together with Harry and Liz. We had planned to visit the local zoo to watch an IMAX movie, but the zoo was packed, and we couldn't find a place to park. We visited a few places so I could see if I could find a PS2 on sale (mine is running down), but no such luck. We went back to Harry's and played "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" for XBox 360. I played as Spider-Man (my favorite comic book character), and Harry played as Thor. Liz played as well, first as Wolverine, then as Storm when we got to a Save point and could change our characters. They had a deal going on at dinner time, so we saved the game, and they took me back to my place.
